CEO Tien Wu said the move strengthens ASE\u2019s global presence and supports Taiwan\u2019s rising role in the chip industry.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>ASE also plans further expansion in Asia and is investing US$200 million in a new FOPLP line in Kaohsiung.
