Led by Professor Lee Ming-tsang, the<br \/>method enables the creation of one-step 3D-patterned coatings on curved<br \/>surfaces, thereby reducing production time, material costs, and carbon<br \/>footprint.<br \/>The technology, likened to one-step 3D printing, builds micron-scale metal<br \/>structures using a laser-based process. It evolved from Lee\u2019s earlier work on<br \/>laser sintering in the U.S. and was developed with National Taiwan University<br \/>and National Applied Research Laboratories.<br \/>Potential applications include flexible electronics, transparent displays, and<br \/>wearable medical devices.
