Designed for urban and rural deliveries, it offers a 360 km range and<br \/>features a fast-charging controller developed in-house, compatible with<br \/>CCS1.<br \/>The ET35 is the first mid-size commercial EV in Taiwan with a locally<br \/>developed Level 2 driver assistance system. CMC President Tseng Hsin-cheng<br \/>said the vehicle showcases collaboration between Taiwan\u2019s auto and tech<br \/>sectors.<br \/>CMC partnered with local firms\u2014including ITRI, Foxconn, and Chung Hua<br \/>Taiya\u2014for chassis, batteries, and axles to support a domestic net-zero<br \/>ecosystem. The company is also working with HCT Logistics and local<br \/>governments on electric recycling fleets.<br \/>Consultant Chu Chen-hsing noted that switching to electric avoids reliance on<br \/>imported diesel and supports Taiwan\u2019s industrial independence.
