Hon Hai Technology Group (Foxconn) has signed an MOU with Japan\u2019s<\/p>\n

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corp. (MFTBC) to jointly develop zero-<\/p>\n

emission (ZEV) buses.<\/p>\n

The partnership, through subsidiaries Foxtron Vehicle Technologies and<\/p>\n

Mitsubishi Fuso Bus Manufacturing, will focus on developing, producing, and<\/p>\n

selling ZEV buses, starting with Foxtron\u2019s Model T and Model U prototypes.<\/p>\n

MFBM will serve as the operational hub for commercialization and explore<\/p>\n

introducing both ICE and ZEV buses to global markets.<\/p>\n

Hon Hai said the collaboration aims to accelerate clean mobility, strengthen<\/p>\n

the Fuso brand, and expand R&amp;D into Japan-made bus models. The<\/p>\n

agreement follows a similar MOU signed in May between Foxtron and<\/p>\n

Mitsubishi Motors for EV development.<\/p>\n

MFTBC, majority-owned by Daimler Truck AG, is a leading Japanese<\/p>\n

commercial vehicle maker known for innovations such as Level-2 automated<\/p>\n

driving support in its Super Great Truck.<\/p>\n

The deal is part of Hon Hai\u2019s \u201c3 plus 3\u201d strategy, with EVs at the core of its<\/p>\n

expansion into emerging industries.<\/p>\n
