The project supports supply-chain integration and a net-zero<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">2050 roadmap: cut facility emissions 30% by 2030 (vs. 2018) with renewables<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">at 25% of power, and 50% by 2040 with renewables at 55%.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">By 2030, solar capacity across Taoyuan and Hsinchu will exceed 10 MW.<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">Product highlight: the ET35, Taiwan\u2019s first fully electric 3.5-ton truck, uses<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">over 90% local parts, includes an in-house driver-assist system, delivers ~303<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">km range, supports ~35-minute fast charging, and is slated for H2 launch with<\/p><p style=\"text-align: left;\">configurations for recycling, food-truck, and vending uses.<\/p>\n<p><!-- \/wp:paragraph --><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>CMC will invest about $125 million to build a smart EV manufacturing center in Yangmei, Taoyuan, next to its current plant.
