Taiwan Launches AI Robotics Alliance, Aims for US$34B Output by 2030

Taiwan has launched a new AI robotics alliance targeting over US$34 billion
in output by 2030.

Led by six major industry groups, including the Taiwan Automation
Intelligence and Robotics Association (TAIROA), the alliance plans to develop
five robotics models across four platforms: mobile vehicles, humanoid
robots, foot-shaped robots, and specialty designs.

Taiwan’s strengths in sensors, chips, controllers, and AI software will support
the development of a comprehensive local supply chain, with applications in
healthcare, logistics, manufacturing, and other sectors.

Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim praised the alliance as a key step toward
leading the next industrial revolution.
