Industrial computer maker ADLINK Technology Inc said it is aiming for double-digit revenue growth next year, driven by demand from the robotics, semiconductor equipment, and medical sectors.
The company has secured several orders with Techman Robot Inc to jointly produce autonomous mobile robots, ADLINK president Stephen Huang said, adding that it is also working with a French partner to launch additional robotic products. Techman is a subsidiary of Quanta Computer Inc, a major supplier of artificial intelligence servers.
ADLINK also expects rising demand from chipmakers for edge AI systems used in automated optical inspection and plans to launch its first AI training server later this quarter. Edge AI products for the medical sector are expected to become a key growth driver over the next three years.
Revenue in the first three quarters rose nearly 24 percent year-on-year to US$276.1 million, while the company returned to profitability over the same period.
