Compal Expands AI Infrastructure Partnerships

Compal Electronics has partnered with Finland-based AI cloud provider Verda to accelerate AI infrastructure deployment across Europe and Asia. Under the agreement, Compal will supply high-density liquid-cooled GPU server systems designed for large-scale AI training, inference, and agent-based applications, with a focus on improving energy efficiency and sustainability.

Verda operates GPU-powered data centres across Europe, serving AI researchers, startups, and technology companies. The partnership is expected to support growing demand for advanced computing resources as adoption of generative AI continues to expand.

Separately, Japan’s Data section Inc. announced an expanded collaboration with Compal and plans to purchase 635 GPU servers based on Nvidia’s latest B300 architecture. Valued at approximately US$325 million, the investment will support Data section’s next-generation AI data centre project and provide large-scale computing capacity for global cloud service providers.
