DragonFly Expects Revenue to Double on VTOL Demand

DragonFly UAS expects second-half revenue to be two to three times the first

half, fueled by overseas orders for 10–20 self-developed VTOL drones

following verification. Its systems support photogrammetry, 3D modeling,

construction, and disaster prevention; VTOL enables vertical takeoff, hover,

and landing without a runway.

CEO Arvin Li said demand is strongest in the U.S. and Europe—from public-

safety agencies, military users, and emergency responders—with rising

interest in Taiwan for public safety and energy inspections. Full-year revenue

is projected at about $5.0 million.

Momentum should extend into next year, aided by agency rights for U.S.

maker Skydio (secured in 2023). About 70% of Skydio components come from

Taiwan. R&D and verification are done in Taiwan; mass production is

supported by Qisda.
