38 Taiwan-based diplomats from 23 nations visited Taiwan AI Labs in Kaohsiung’s Asia Bay 5G AIoT Innovation Park on Nov. 2. Foreign Minister Lin Chia-lung led the delegation, which Mayor Chen Mai hosted.
The city government highlighted its AI-driven initiatives for improving governance, industrial solutions, and environmental sustainability, including its Net Zero Academy, which has trained over 3,000 professionals. Kaohsiung also integrates AI into traditional industries like agriculture and manufacturing to boost carbon reduction efforts.
Mayor Chen emphasized the city’s commitment to digital and net-zero transformations, expressing hopes for international collaboration in AI and carbon trading.
