The Southwest Coast National Scenic Area launched the “YouBike I Like” campaign on June 19 to promote tourism in Yunlin, Chiayi, and Tainan counties. The campaign highlights white salt fields and golden sunsets.
A major event, the “Taiwan SWCoast Cycling Tour,” will occur on Sept. 7, themed around local religious beliefs. The tour starts at Nankunshen Daitian Temple, proceeds to Guosheng Port Lighthouse, and ends at Luermen Shengu Temple.
The event offers three routes: the 90-km “Fortune Ride,” the 40-km “Scenic Ride,” and the 30-km “Family Ride,” passing landmarks like Beimen Crystal Church and Jing Zhai Jiao Tile Paved Salt Fields.
