The 2025 Taiwan Innotech Expo opened on October 16 in Taipei, highlighting
government efforts to promote innovation and reinforce Taiwan’s role in the
global high-tech value chain.
Co-organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council and the
Industrial Technology Research Institute, the three-day event was supported
by 11 government agencies, including the Ministry of Economic Affairs
(MOEA) and the National Science and Technology Council.
MOEA Minister Kung Ming-hsin said the expo, featuring over 400 exhibitors
from 19 countries and more than 1,000 innovations, was as significant as
SEMICON Taiwan. This year’s focus was on artificial intelligence and
sustainable technologies, with over 300 AI applications on display.
The event included four themed sections: Invention Competition, Innovation
Economy, Future Tech, and Sustainability Pavilions, showcasing
breakthroughs in AI, semiconductors, and circular solutions. Guided tours
and forums on AI, cybersecurity, and smart robotics further promoted
Taiwan’s leadership in innovation-driven industries.
