Trade between Taiwan and Ivory Coast rises following the reopening of Taipei Representative Office

Trade volume between Taiwan and Ivory Coast rose by 9.1% in the first half of this year, compared to the same period last year, following the reopening of the Taipei Representative Office in Ivory Coast, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.

The office has been working with various sectors in Ivory Coast, including economy and trade, education, vocational training, agriculture, and public health, since its reopening.

The Taiwan External Trade Development Council formed a trade mission to visit Ivory Coast and other African countries in an effort to explore trade opportunities.

The foreign ministry expressed intent to continue fostering friendly relations and seeking business opportunities for Taiwanese entrepreneurs in Africa.
