According to data from Global Energy Monitor, East Asia is set to expand its wind power production capacity by 65% by the end of 2030, which will solidify the region’s position as the top wind power production area.

South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan are expected to post faster growth rates than China through 2030, with South Korea expected to see a 3,275% swell in capacity to become the 6th largest wind power producer globally.
These East Asian countries are set to account for 36.2% of the world’s wind capacity by 2030, maintaining the region’s status as the largest hub for wind power.
