The Taipei Innovative Textile Application Show recently opened at the Nangang Exhibition Center. It features eco-friendly and functional fabrics from 385 manufacturers, including 75 international exhibitors. Vice President Hsiao Bi-khim highlighted Taiwan’s textile legacy and the need to support traditional industries alongside tech sectors. Major exhibitors like Far Eastern New Century and Nan Pao Resins Chemical showcased low-carbon and bio-based textiles. The event drew international delegations and over 70 global brands for private meetings, underscoring Taiwan’s position in sustainable textile innovation.
