The Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) held the 2024 ITRI Net Zero Day in Taipei on April 19, featuring insights from companies like TSMC, Nasdaq, and TUV Rheinland on achieving net zero emissions.
ITRI Chairman Lee Chih-kung emphasized the institute’s commitment to net zero solutions, highlighting the Hydrogen Innovation Hub and efforts to promote green financing for startups and SMEs. ITRI President Edwin Liu discussed advancements in renewable energy and clean technologies, and ITRI’s plan for Taiwan’s Pathway to Net Zero Emissions by 2050.
The event showcased over 30 technological services, including hydrogen production, AI server cooling, and eco-friendly fabric sorting. Founded in 1973, ITRI has incubated companies like TSMC and UMC.
