Taiwan’s woodworking machinery industry is advancing through the “Promotional Project for Industrialization of Smart Machinery,” launched by the Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The initiative aims to enhance the sector’s intelligence, connectivity, and efficiency, bridging hardware and software gaps. Taiwan, a global leader in woodworking machinery, ranks fourth in export value, driven by strong industrial clusters in Central Taiwan.
The program leverages government support to elevate Taiwan’s smart machinery capabilities, attracting foreign orders and positioning the industry as a model for global market integration.
