Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. and Nvidia are collaborating with Taiwan’s leading medical centres to deploy AI technologies that support the country’s transition toward AI-driven healthcare.
The initiative combines Nvidia’s agentic and physical AI technologies with Foxconn’s role as an ecosystem integrator, connecting hospitals, government agencies, device manufacturers, and software providers to deploy AI across clinical and operational workflows.
Designed to help address Taiwan’s rapidly aging population and growing healthcare demands, the system uses specialized AI agents to assist with clinical decision-making, documentation, care coordination, logistics, and hospital operations.
The deployment supports Taiwan’s Healthy Taiwan initiative, a US$1.5 billion program to build a regulated, AI-enabled healthcare ecosystem spanning hospitals, academic institutions, and technology companies. Organizers said the collaboration aims to improve healthcare efficiency while expanding the use of AI across Taiwan’s medical sector.
