Taipei Cycle Highlights the Future of the Global Bicycle Industry

Taipei Cycle is evolving beyond a traditional sourcing exhibition to reflect the changing needs of the global bicycle industry, where digital capabilities, sustainability, and supply chain resilience are becoming increasingly important.

As regulations such as the Digital Product Passport (DPP), the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM), and ESG reporting requirements reshape global manufacturing, suppliers are expected to provide greater transparency, traceability, and compliance support alongside high-quality production.

The growth of connected e-bikes is also driving demand for integrated solutions that combine hardware, software, battery management, and digital services. Taiwan’s strengths in bicycle manufacturing and information and communications technology position it to support this shift toward more connected mobility solutions.

Organizers said Taipei Cycle is increasingly serving as a platform to explore emerging industry trends, including sustainability, digital transformation, supply chain resilience, and future mobility. Alongside product showcases, the exhibition features discussions on evolving regulations and technologies, reinforcing Taiwan’s role as a key partner in the next generation of global bicycle manufacturing and innovation.
